Our business partners help us to deliver a range of fun, interactive learning programmes to schools and colleges all around the country. These out of classroom sessions are delivered in a real business environment and are suitable for all ages, abilities and qualifications. We are expanding our range of Business Partnership Centres so that we can cover the key employment sectors across the city, and we see that these centres will form an essential part of careers learning for young people. We are currently exploring options and formulating centres with the following companies; Aston University, Interserve, mac and Redcliffe Catering. At the BXL Jaguar and Land Rover Partnership Centres in Birmingham and Solihull we expose pupils to a engineering and manufacturing environment. The factory tour is complemented by practical classroom exercises that give pupils an understanding of the processes involved. A Land Rover Driving Experience can also be included. New for a Limited Period Jaguar Land Rover and Cadbury’s join forces to offer schools a two centre educational visit- 'Go beyond the Gorilla' You can now combine a visit to BXL’s Jaguar Land Rover centre with a visit to Cadbury World. This is a fabulous opportunity to see behind the scenes workings of two iconic Birmingham companies. Both centres offer an insight into the manufacturing process, and an opportunity to see first-hand the skills and machinery needed to produce their products.
