BXL is now building on its existing partnerships and developing new alliances with other Third Sector organisations. Through building mutual support, learning and training, our intention is to develop new services that contribute to the provision. We intend to develop our existing services and make them more relevant and grow in capacity to fit our plans. Read more.

BXL receives WNF funding to work with
families in the South of the city

BXL’s Improving Chances Project works with individuals and families in the South West of the city, to reduce multi-generational unemployment, by raising the skills and aspirations of disadvantaged young people and their parents or guardians. This innovative project will break the cycle of low expectations and raise aspirations by delivering a menu of accredited and non-accredited training opportunities that can be tailored to each family’s needs. Our ‘Bxcellent’ Outplacement Service can help support your staff!
Changing economic circumstances have led to companies having to face difficult decisions. If your organisation is planning to make redundancies, our Outplacement Service will provide you with support to ease you and your workforce into facing new challenges. We will work closely with you to provide a tailored service to suit your employees’ needs. We offer both group and individual sessions to guide your staff through the difficult transition period. BXL’s Elev8 celebrates!

Success was the word ringing in the ears of those attending the Elev8 celebration event in April! Young people successfully involved with the project over the past 18 months were awarded certificates and were given the opportunity to talk about their accomplishments, in front of an audience at ENTA. Afterwards, English super-middleweight boxer Richie Woodall delivered an inspirational motivational presentation to a captive audience of young people, training providers and referral agencies such as Connexions and the Youth Service.
