Our programmes can help you to learn no matter what stage you are at in your education or career. We cover the full range of work related learning activities and career guidance allowing us to take you from your primary school days right through your career, providing you with the guidance and knowledge you need to make the best decisions along the way. Primary LearnersWe can tell you about all the different types of jobs that you can do when you grow up and you will probably be surprised that there are so many fun and interesting jobs that you never even knew about. Age 14 – 19 Learners - Alternatives to School and Work Experience Programmes If you are over 16 and unemployed: We have delivered programmes such as our elev8 and Improving Chances programmes that support young people into further education, training or employment. Offering a variety of courses, ranging from contruction to salon services, we give individuals a taster of an area that they might be interested in. Support was given throughout by an Outreach Worker who was able to address your individual needs and to help with your transition into full time education, training or employment. If you are interested in any of the above programmes you should do one of the following things:
Improving Chances and Impact Projects We are always looking for funding to provide projects that support and up-skill unemployed individuals into employment. Our Improving Chances and Impact projects which both ended in March 2011 helped families and individuals, to break down the barriers to employment. We worked to improve and update individuals skills and build their confidence. Providing free practical and accredited courses and work experience we helped them get back on the employment ladder.
