Public Sector - Delivering Successful Programmes

Our strategic partnerships with public sector partners are very important to us. We can work in a number of different ways with the public sector, and with some partners we collaborate to deliver programmes together, while with others we provide them with services that help them to engage with the education sector to fulfill their corporate and social responsibilties.
The following is just an example of some of the partnerships that we have forged with the public sector:

Local Authorities

Birmingham City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Council have recently awarded us funding to deliver work related learning and work experience programmes to 14 – 19 year olds in the region. We are also delivering targeted supported for young people who are at risk of becoming disengaged.

Learning Skills Council

Sixth Form
The Learning Skills Council commissioned us to work on the Elev8 programme, which is designed to help 16 – 18 year olds ( up to 25 for LDD ) who are not in education, employment or training ( NEET ). Working with local education and training companies, we deliver courses to encourage these young people back into further education or training. 70% of the young people who complete the Elev8 programme go back into further education or training.

Birmingham Children’s Hospital

We manage all requests for work experience at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. We provide a full account management service where we manage applications, select students and guide staff and students through the entire process, allowing staff the hospital to focus on their day jobs rather than being burdened with the adminstration attached to work experience.
