Third Sector - Collaboration and Shared Services

As a third sector organisation ourselves, we have partnered with other complementary organisations to help us to deliver interesting and exciting programmes to schools and colleges in the region. We are always looking to create new partnerships to improve the services that we already provide.

The following is just a selection of some of the organisations that we work with.

Birmingham Wheels

Birmingham Wheels provides young people in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with a practical and responsive programme of accredited learning through the use of motorised vehicles including karts, buggies and motorcycles.

UFA

The University of the First Age is committed to working in innovative and creative ways to enrich and extend learning for young people aged 5 to 25. Their aim is to create an open university for young people so they can access a range of challenging learning opportunities in and beyond their school. Being part of a 'university' in early life helps to raise aspirations, increases the likelihood of young people going on to Further and Higher Education and develops skills that will help them succeed in their future lives and employment.

Creation

Creation is a state-of-the-art climbing centre in Birmingham and we work with the team at Creation to offer work experience programmes for young people, giving them the opportunity to enjoy some of the activities on offer at the centre.

Outdoor Learning Service

The Outdoor Learning Service has four residential centres, nine day centres and a host of environmental and adventurous activities. We are working together to develop work experience programmes and work-related learning activities to increase young people’s employability skills through a series of outdoor activities.
